Product & Databases

What databases are included with AntiProxies?

You get five databases: VPN & proxy IPs (covering 1,000+ providers), disposable email domains (148,484), Tor exit nodes, ISP reputation profiles (471), and datacenter IP ranges. All databases are included in a single license. See our threat detection overview for details on each database.

What formats are the databases available in?

Databases are delivered in ready-to-use formats for the most common software: Nginx (geo block), Apache (Require not ip), HAProxy (ACL), Caddy (remote_ip), Traefik (YAML), iptables/UFW (ipset), Cloudflare (IP list), Varnish (VCL), and more. CSV and JSON files are also available for direct database or application imports. Custom formats are available on request.

How often are the databases updated?

Databases are updated monthly. Each release is tested and verified before publishing. You can automate downloads via a simple script or cron job - no manual work needed.

How accurate are the databases?

Our databases maintain high accuracy through continuous verification against multiple sources. VPN/proxy detection covers all major commercial providers and known open proxies. Disposable email coverage includes all widely-used temporary email services. Read why static blocklists fail to understand why freshness matters.

Do I need an API to use the databases?

No. The databases are flat files you host on your own server. Lookups are local database queries - no external API calls required. This means zero latency overhead and complete privacy. Learn more about why local processing matters for GDPR.

Does AntiProxies replace reCAPTCHA, Akismet, or my WAF?

No - and it's not designed to. AntiProxies is a threat intelligence layer: it tells you what a given IP, email, or network is based on our databases. What you do with that information is up to you. Most teams use it alongside reCAPTCHA, Akismet, Cloudflare, and other tools, not instead of them. Each layer catches different things - reCAPTCHA handles behavioral challenges, your WAF blocks known attack patterns, and AntiProxies tells you whether the traffic source itself is a VPN, a bot network, a disposable email address, or a known threat. Together they cover more ground than any one of them alone.

Pricing & Licensing

How much does AntiProxies cost?

€99/year for all databases with monthly updates for one year. One license covers your entire organization - no per-server or per-query fees.

Can I use the databases on multiple servers?

Yes. A single license covers your entire organization. Deploy the databases across as many servers, applications, and environments as you need with no additional fees.

Is there a free trial?

We publish free samples from every database on our free samples page so you can evaluate data quality, format, and accuracy before purchasing. The samples contain real production data.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (auto-renewed annually) and bank transfer (SEPA or international wire). All payments are processed securely.

What is the refund policy?

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with the databases for any reason, contact us within 30 days for a full refund - no questions asked.

Privacy & Data

Does AntiProxies process my users' data?

No. Because you host the databases on your own infrastructure, user data (IPs, emails) never leaves your servers. AntiProxies has no access to your traffic or user information.

Is AntiProxies GDPR compliant?

Yes. Our self-hosted model is GDPR-friendly by design - no personal data is transmitted to third parties. We also offer a Data Processing Agreement for organizations that require one. See our GDPR page for details, or read our guide to GDPR-compliant bot protection.

Where does the threat intelligence data come from?

Our databases are compiled from publicly available network data, community threat feeds, and our own scanning infrastructure. We do not scrape personal information or purchase data from unethical sources.

Do you share data with third parties?

No. We do not sell, share, or provide customer data or database contents to any third party. Your license and usage information is kept strictly confidential.

Can I host the databases in my own country?

Yes. Since you download and host the files yourself, you have full control over data residency. The databases can live in any jurisdiction you choose, helping you meet local data sovereignty requirements.

Integration & Setup

How do I integrate the databases into my application?

Download the CSV or JSON files, import them into your database or application, and query them locally. We provide documentation and code examples for WordPress/PHP, Node.js, Python, Go, Ruby, and more.

What programming languages are supported?

The databases are available in multiple formats that work with any language or platform. We provide specific integration guides for Node.js, Python, PHP/Laravel, Ruby on Rails, Go, and Next.js, plus WordPress guides, and ready-made configs for Nginx, Apache, HAProxy, Caddy, Traefik, iptables, and more.

How long does setup take?

Most developers have the databases integrated and running within 15-30 minutes. Import the files, write a lookup function, and you are live. No complex configuration or infrastructure changes needed.

Will it slow down my application?

No. Because lookups are local database queries (not external API calls), response times are typically under 1ms. There is no network latency overhead. See our API protection guide for performance details.

Can I automate database updates?

Yes. Set up a cron job or scheduled task to download the latest databases when they are published (monthly). We provide download URLs and scripts to automate the entire update process.

Security & Compliance

How is the database download secured?

All database downloads are served over HTTPS with TLS 1.3 encryption. Download links are authenticated and tied to your license. Files are verified with checksums to ensure integrity.

How is the threat intelligence data sourced?

We aggregate data from public network registries, community threat intelligence feeds, and proprietary scanning infrastructure. All data is verified through multiple independent sources before inclusion.

Does AntiProxies meet compliance requirements?

Our self-hosted model simplifies compliance. Because no user data leaves your infrastructure, you maintain full control over data processing. We provide a DPA, privacy policy, and GDPR documentation.

How do I report a security vulnerability?

We welcome responsible disclosure. Please email security issues to security@antiproxies.com. We aim to acknowledge reports within 24 hours and provide status updates within 72 hours.

Can I use AntiProxies in a PCI DSS environment?

Yes. Since the databases run entirely on your infrastructure, they do not introduce new PCI scope. You control the data, the queries, and the network - no third-party data flows to account for.

Support & Updates

How do I get support?

Email us at contact@antiproxies.com or use our contact form. We typically respond within one business day.

What happens when my license expires?

You keep all databases downloaded during your license period - they are yours to use indefinitely. However, you will stop receiving updates. Renew anytime to resume monthly updates.

How do I know when a new database update is available?

We publish updates monthly. You will receive an email notification when new databases are available, or you can automate downloads with a cron job.

Do you offer an SLA?

Since the databases run on your infrastructure, uptime depends on your own setup. We guarantee database update availability and download access. For enterprise SLA requirements, contact us.

Can I request a custom database or feature?

Yes. We are open to custom data requests for enterprise customers. Contact us with your requirements and we will discuss what is possible.

Common questions about threat intelligence databases

AntiProxies provides self-hosted threat intelligence databases for VPN detection, proxy detection, disposable email blocking, Tor exit node identification, and ISP reputation scoring. Unlike API-based services, our databases run entirely on your infrastructure - meaning your users' data never leaves your servers.

This approach eliminates third-party data sharing, reduces latency to near-zero, and simplifies compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR. Whether you are protecting a WordPress site, a SaaS application, or an enterprise platform, AntiProxies databases integrate with any tech stack in minutes.

Still have questions? Contact our team and we will get back to you within one business day.
